TAAC: Miller tallies 3 TDs as Toledo Christian wins

Graham Miller scored three touchdowns to lead Toledo Christian to a 28-7 victory over Fort Loramie at Central Catholic.

Miller gained 125 yards on 23 rushes and two touchdowns, and also had 62 yards in five receptions, one for a touchdown.

Nick Righnowar was 17 of 32 passing for 254 yards with two touchdowns for the Eagles (2-1)

Fort Loramie (2-1) had five turnovers.

Cardinal Stritch 55, Plymouth Christian 12

Tyler MacDonald rushed three times for 110 yards and two touchdowns as Cardinal Stritch blew out to a 33-0 first quarter lead at Clay.

MacDonald was part of a 398-yard rushing performance for the Cardinals.

MacDonald scored on runs of 65 and 45 yards. Tim Langlois added 81 yards on three carries and two touchdowns. Defensively for Stritch, Mike Kiss recorded eight tackles, forced a fumble, recovered another and return an interception 38 yards for a score.

The Cardinals' first two TDs came on runs by Nick Fuller (53 yards) and Mike Blazevich (48).

Mack Schwanberger scored on a 33-yard pass from Brook Gasser.

Eric Jipping led Plymouth with 10 carries for 46 yards and scored a TD.

Hopewell-Loudon 18, Northwood 12

Logan Sendelbach connected with Tyler Tyree for a 24-yard touchdown pass and again for a 2-point conversion with less than three minutes remaining in the game for Hopewell-Loudon (3-0).

Northwood's Jake Pressley returned an interception for a 12-yard touchdown, and Rickey Hartley pulled in two interceptions for the Rangers (2-1).

Each team threw three interceptions. Northwood lost three fumbles and the Chieftains lost one.

Antwerp 42, Ottawa Hills 22

John Brown connected on 10 of 15 pass for 192 yards and four touchdowns to lead visiting Antwerp.

Ottawa Hills led in first downs (16-15) but had 184 yards on the ground and 138 passing (J.J. Buckey was 11 of 19 for 119 yards) to Antwerp's 248 yards rushing and 192 yards passing.

Tanner Copsey led Antwerp with 14 carries for 115 yards and two touchdowns. Jordan Koppenhofer gathered in four passes for 97 yards and a touchdown.

For Ottawa Hills, Cole Ferguson scored on a 22-yard pass fromBuckey, who also scored on a one-yard run.

Doug Stockton hauled in a 19-yard TD pass from John Rodriguez.

Hilltop 53, Holgate 22

WEST UNITY - Quinton Nfziger rushed 17 times for 109 yards and scored three touchdowns for Hilltop.

The Cadets rushed for 381 yards.

Holgate quarterback Ryan Aelker completed 12 of 22 passes for 141 yards. Jay Rothman finished with 36 yards rushing and a touchdown.

Danbury 33, Fostoria St. Wendelin 20

LAKESIDE - Junior Lucas Kennedy rushed for four touchdowns and passed for another to lead Danbury over Fostoria St. Wendelin.

The Lakers did most of their damage in the second quarter, scoring 20 points to enter halftime with a 20-12 lead.

The Lakers, who canceled their game last week because of a lack of players, improved to 1-1.

Corey Schenk caught a 29-yard TD pass for the Lakers.
