Field goal lifts Oak Harbor over Port Clinton

PORT CLINTON — Miles Backus kicked a 25-yard field goal early in the fourth quarter that lifted Oak Harbor.

The Rockets had 270 yards of total offense to Port Clinton's 173, but Oak Harbor's lone touchdown came when Davey Burkett returned the opening kickoff 88 yards.

Jake Scott had 91 yards rushing for the Rockets (5-1, 3-0, Sandusky Bay Conference).

Derek Colston scored on a two-yard run for the Redskins (3-3, 1-2).

NAPOLEON — The Wildcats scored 12 points in the final quarter to break open the Greater Buckeye Conference game.

Napoleon scored first on a 52-yard wide receiver pass from Tyler Miller to Jordan Myles, then Miller caught a 10-yard scoring strike from Jacob Plassman.

After the Presidents scored two TDs in the third period, Devon Sonnenberg scored on a two-yard run in the final quarter and Nate Walker returned an interception 30 yards for a TD.
