Whiteford tops Britton-Deerfield in overtime

BRITTON, Mich. — Whiteford's gamble paid off, as Britton-Deerfield scored first in overtime. After the Bobcats scored, they opted to go for ta two-point conversion for the win.

Gabe LaRoy hit Grant Track for a five-yard TD catch in the extra session, then LaRoy connected with Forrest Grosteffon for conversion.

Whiteford jumped ahead 21-0 before Britton-Deerfield roared back and tied the game in the fourth quarter on AndrewPrielipp's 10-yard pass to Eli Browning.

LaRoy was 11-of-14 passing for 125 yards and two touchdowns. Cody Donnelly led the Bobcats(3-3) on the ground with 81 yards on 15 carries and a touchdown.

TEMPERANCE — Undefeated Bedford didn't waste any time against Ann Arbor Skyline, rolling up 30 points in the first quarter and coasting to its sixth straight victory.

The Mules rushed the ball 54 times for 530 yards, and had zero yards passing. Defensively, the Mules picked off five Skyline passes.

Aaron Czesak gained 113 yards on 14 carries and scored two TDs. Erik Jones scored twice with eight carries for 146 yards.

Jared Kujawa, John Shepherd, and John Prajzner all added touchdowns for the Mules.

ERIE, Mich. — Hudson improved to 6-0 with the comfortable victory on the road.

Drew Milligan and CamdinMcCaskey provided the power on the ground, each running for three touchdowns for Hudson.

Erie Mason drops to 0-6.
