Oak Harbor tops Edison

MILAN — Davey Burkett ran a punt back 75 yards for a first-quarter touchdown, and Jake Scott scampered 47 yards for the game-clincher in the middle of the final period to help Oak Harbor run its season record to 6-1.

Scott had 122 yards in a demanding 27 carries for the Rockets, who gained 169 yards on the ground in 43 attempts.

Edison had 123 yards rushing in 29 attempts but was limited to five yards passing.

Oak Harbor was 8-of-20 passing for 69 yards. The Rockets had 12 first downs for the game to only four for Edison.
