Crystal Bowersox schedules Ottawa County show

Tickets for Crystal Bowersox at the Ottawa County Fairgrounds go on sale May 16.

Crystal Bowersox is coming home this summer to play a concert July 9 at the Ottawa County Fairgrounds near Port Clinton.

The 2010 American Idol runner-up is from nearby Elliston, Ohio, and the Ottawa County Agricultural Society announced the show. She sang a few songs at the fairgrounds last year when she made a quick trip home from the Idol competition.

She is beginning to tour to promote her “Farmer’s Daughter” album and last weekend played two sold-out concerts at Monroe County Community College.

Tickets for the Ottawa County show go on sale May 16 and will cost $25. Tickets can be purchased at the fairgrounds, by e-mail ocfair@amplex.net or by calling 419-898-1971. The 2011 fair occurs later in July.
