Arson investigator called to Chase Street in North Toledo

An arson investigator has been called to an overnight blaze in North Toledo.

Firefighters called to 2024 Chase St. near Galena Street at 2:17 a.m. today found light smoke showing from the two-story home. They declared the fire under control at 2:36 a.m. and called for the arson investigator about 10 minutes after that.

The house was built in 1902 and is owned by NorthRiver Homes, according to the Lucas County auditor's Web site.
