Arson suspected in North Toledo fire overnight

    • A vacant North Toledo house is to be demolished today after an early morning fire.

    Firefighters called to 2857 Mulberry St. at 3:06 a.m. found the structure fully engulfed in flames. An arson investigator was called.

    The house was built in 1917 and is owned by Veronica Moxley of Sylvania, according to the Lucas County auditor's Web site.

    Also overnight, firefighters were called to a garage blaze in East Toledo. They found the detached garage at 365 Burger St. fully involved in flames. They were called at 4:46 a.m. The property is owned by the Louisville Title Agency, according to the Lucas County auditor's Web site.
