Mud Hens fall in 14 innings

The Mud Hens suffered a 2-1 loss to Indianapolis in a 14-inning game played at Fifth Third Field on Monday. The game tied for the longest, in terms of innings, the Hens have played this season, and the time of 4 hours, 22 minutes made it the longest game, time-wise, this year.

Toledo's lone run came in the fifth when Audy Ciriaco led off by slamming his ninth home run of the season.

The Indians scored a run in the third but got their winning run in the top of the 14th when Eric Fryer singled with one out and scored on a two-run double by Brandon Boggs.

The Hens travel to Columbus to begin a five-games-in-four-days series today starting at 7:05 p.m.
