Fulton County woman dies on Airport Highway

A Fulton County woman was killed when she was struck by a car as she walked on Airport Highway, just west of the Ohio Turnpike, on Tuesday night, according to the Ohio Highway Patrol.

Stephanie L. Nash, 42, of Delta was pronounced dead at the scene in Monclova Township.

She was walking in the roadway at about 10:30 p.m. when she was struck by an eastbound car driven by David Walter, 32, of Napoleon, according to the patrol. He drove to the nearby patrol post to report the incident.

The road was closed for three and a half hours.
