No Loving, no problem as St. John's rolls by Findlay 73-33

St. John’s Jesuit has lost one basketball game this season to an Ohio foe.

St. John's Jesuit's Tyler Thompson gets a layup in front of Findlay's Michael Clark. Thompson finished with 13 points in the win.

That came Dec. 18 in Three Rivers Athletic Conference play at Findlay, a 61-59 setback when Titans senior standout Marc Loving missed the only game of his four-year career because of the flu.

In Friday night’s rematch, it was the visiting Trojans who went home feeling a bit under the weather after a lopsided 73-33 loss at St. John’s. PHOTO GALLERY

Rogers’ reserves step up in 70-49 City League win over Start

Rogers tipped off short-handed against Start on Friday night in a City League matchup.

Rogers senior Tony Kynard, who finished with 24 points, goes to the net against Start's Michael Mitchell.

Seniors Clemmye Owens and DeVonte Pratt were not in the Rams lineup. Both were bothered by injury, keeping Owens out of the game for the opening quarter and Pratt for the entire contest.

Rogers' normal starting routine may have been altered, but it didn't stop the Rams from remaining undefeated in league play as they outran Start for a 70-49 win before a Rams home crowd. PHOTO GALLERY
