Toledo police ID victims in East Toledo stabbings

Toledo police officers have identified Christopher Ogden, 40, as the Toledo man who died after being stabbed in his East Toledo home today in an incident in which Brenda Watts, 36, was also stabbed.

Ogden was pronounced dead at 3:27 a.m. at a local hospital, police said. He died at Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center, according to the Lucas County coroner's office. The man was said to be stabbed multiple times.

Brenda Watts
Ms. Watts' injuries were not as serious and she was expected to recover, according to police. She was taken to Mercy St.Charles Hospital where her condition wasn't available.
About 2:51 a.m., police received a call from a woman who said a man had been stabbed at a house at 2044 Woodford St., from which she was calling. Police arrived and found Ogden in critical condition and Ms. Watts suffering from a less serious wound, police said.
There were no arrests, police said.
