2 overnight fires break out almost simultaneously
1/1/2014Toledo firefighters responded to two overnight blazes reported within a minute of each other.
At 2:26 a.m., they were called to 2747 Bryn Mawr Drive in West Toledo where occupants escaped through upper windows. Extensive damaged was reported to the wood-frame house.
At 2:27 a.m., firefighters were called to 3358 Maher St. in North Toledo. That home burned to the ground.
No one was hurt in either fire.
