    Falcon women cruise to win over St. Bonaventure
    For a half, the Bowling Green State University women’s basketball team stopped St. Bonaventure cold. While the Falcons could not stop the Bonnies in the second half, BG had built up such a large cushion it was able to escape with a 76-65 win in a Women’s NIT second-round contest at Stroh Center Monday.

    Tourney stop serves as a homecoming for Achter
    It’s only natural that young coaches learn habits, traits, and sayings from those who have coached them. And former Bowling Green State University standout Kate Achter is no exception. “I catch myself stomping on the bench occasionally,” Achter admitted, referencing a habit former BG coach Curt Miller is well known for. “I need to stop that.”

    Irish survive 1st-half slump to win at Savage Arena
    Notre Dame’s Big 3 was a big tease in the first half Monday. The second half in Notre Dame’s second-round game of the NCAA women’s tournament was more representative of their true talents. The Fighting Irish’s All-ACC triumvirate combined for 66 points to nearly outscore Arizona State in a 84-67 rout at University of Toledo’s Savage Arena.
