Chrysler Toledo plant expansion

Chrysler Group LLC gave a tour of its expanding Toledo facility Wednesday, Aug. 8, 2012. As the Jeep Liberty nears the end of its run, the Chrysler Toledo North Assembly plant nears completion of a new 267,000-square-foot body shop. A 25,000-square-foot metrology center -- a high-tech room able to take precise measurements to ensure better fit and finish -- is also almost complete.
