Hostess plant in Northwood shutters operations

Bakery, Confectionery, Tobacco Workers & Grain Millers International Union Local No. 19 Union members stand outside the Northwood Hostess plant as they learn that Hostess will go out of business and they have lost their jobs. Hostess, the maker of Twinkies and Wonder Bread, plans to go out of business, lay off its 18,500 workers, including at its Northwood plant, and sell its snack cake and bread brands.
