Ike, the rescued dog of Tom Reynolds, of Sylvania learns to use the pool ladder during the "Jack's Pooch Plunge" event Saturday, Sept. 9, 2012, in Sylvania. It was sponsored by Plummer Pool of Sylvania Recreation and Sylvania Veterinary Hospital, and fostered by Sylvania Rec board member Dave Spiess in Sylvania. Spiess organized the event to honor his late father and to benefit Toledo Unleashed, the organization that is pursuing a Bark Park for the Toledo area.
