Sylvania baseball holiday tournament

Sylvania’s local traveling baseball team, the Mavericks, played Saturday, July 6, 2013, in its annual invitation tournament, taking on teams from Ohio and Michigan. For more than 20 years, the Sylvania Recreation District has hosted the Mavericks Baseball Fourth of July Tournament. This year, about 40 traveling teams came to Sylvania to play at Pacesetter Park.
