One courtroom inside the U.S. District Courthouse, located in downtown Toledo, is so cramped the witnesses must sit a few arms-length from the defense table. The U.S. District Courthouse, originally built between 1930 and 1933, is outdated. With concerns about security and space, a renovation is being proposed for Bankruptcy Court, with a new addition built to house the District Court. THE BLADE/KATIE RAUSCH
