A Sylvania Township man was released on bond yesterday after being arrested a day earlier on a felony drug warrant during a rave party attended by 150 to 200 people at a vacant warehouse in South Toledo, police said.

Danny Abuhashish, 19, of 5930 Summer Place Dr., was released from the Lucas County jail after posting $2,000 bond set in Sylvania Municipal Court by Judge Scott Ramey. Authorities saw a number of people entering and leaving a warehouse at 1225 Broadway about 3:15 a.m. Sunday. They stopped several people, learned about the party, and went inside.

Officers found Mr. Abuhashish inside and escorted partygoers from the building. When the crowd left, numerous bags of suspected drugs were on the floor. The contents are being analyzed, the lieutenant said. No charges have been filed against the party organizer, attendees, or the property owner, but an investigation is continuing, vice Lt. Dan Schultz said.

A rave is an all-night dance party usually attended by teenagers or those in their early 20s at a warehouse or other large location. Drugs such as Ecstasy have been found at such events, he said.
