SANDUSKY - A hearing has been scheduled next week for a Toledo man who is being held in the strangulation slaying of his Sandusky girlfriend.

Serron Harrison, 21, of 1208 Evesham St., is to appear at 10 a.m. Feb. 6 in Sandusky Municipal Court on a charge of murder in the death of Alisha Duncan, 18. He also faces unrelated misdemeanor charges of obstructing official business and trespassing.

Bond of $1 million was set Monday in Toledo Municipal Court for Mr. Harrison, who later was transferred to the Erie County jail.

Ms. Duncan, 18, was found dead Friday in her apartment on Clinton Street in Sandusky.

Mr. Harrison was arrested later that day in Toledo for failure to appear on a warrant issued in Sandusky for the two misdemeanor counts. He resisted being taken into custody and was charged with resisting arrest and criminal damaging, Toledo police said.

As a result of an investigation by Toledo and Sandusky police detectives, Mr. Harrison was charged with killing Ms. Duncan.
