A man charged with shooting another man in a central Toledo alley in February was ordered held in the Lucas County jail yesterday in lieu of a $70,000 bond after his arraignment before Toledo Municipal Court Judge Mary Grace Trimboli.

Ronmetrius Scott, 28, of 3119 Doyle St., remained in the jail last night on charges of felonious assault and aggravated robbery. He was arrested Tuesday near Akron and returned to Toledo.

He is accused of shooting Jackie Easterly, 27, during a quarrel Feb. 3 in the alley at the rear of the 900 block of West Woodruff Avenue. Mr. Easterly was thrown to the ground and shot three times, police said.

The shooting occurred near a parked car Mr. Easterly borrowed from a friend. Mr. Scott stole the car after the shooting, police said. Mr. Easterly was treated at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center.
