Triad Construction files for bankruptcy

Triad Construction Services, Inc., of Swanton, yesterday filed for liquidation in U.S. Bankruptcy Court in Toledo. It estimated assets at $510,000 and debts at $1.6 million, but details were not provided.

The company, which worked on the Grand Aire Express construction at Toledo Express Airport several years ago, might be able to repay creditors 30 cents of each $1 it owes, said Donna Weaver, attorney for company president Doyle Drennan.

"When the next big job didn't come in, there wasn't any money to pay suppliers," she said.
