A 10-month-old boy was hurt when he was hit in the back of the head with a bottle while he was in a stroller on the front porch of his home at 1346 West Delaware Ave., police said.

Darius Jackson was listed in good condition yesterday in Toledo Hospital with a head wound and a concussion, authorities said. The boy's mother, Jasmyn Jones, said that neighbors were throwing bricks, charcoal, and bottles about 6:20 p.m. Thursday when one of the bottles hit her son. When police saw the infant, he was conscious and did not appear to be hurt. Ms. Jones told police she just wanted peace kept in the area.

A short time later, the infant passed out. Emergency medical crews took him to the hospital. On the way, the boy regained consciousness, police said.
