A 35-year-old Whitehouse resident faces charges in Maumee Municipal Court of trespassing and assault after she was accused of walking into the teacher's lounge at Waterville Primary School last week and attacking the school's nurse.

Maria L. Smith, of 12635 Archbold-Whitehouse Rd., went to the school about 3:10 p.m. June 5 and confronted Amy Stechschulte, 28, of 3765 Harrowsfield Rd., Sylvania Township, the school nurse, about a personal dispute.

Ms. Smith asked a teacher's aide to leave the room, Waterville police said.

That's when Ms. Smith began yelling, pulling Ms. Stechschulte's hair, and striking her in the face about three times, causing Ms. Stechschulte's face to hit a television set.

The nurse suffered a bloody nose, according to police.

Ms. Smith then left the school with her daughter. The nurse did not seek medical treatment.

Ms. Smith is scheduled for arraignment June 24.
