A man charged in the shooting death of a Toledo woman as she sat in a car near Ottawa Park last month was ordered held on a $500,000 bond during an arraignment yesterday in Toledo Municipal Court.

Prentiss Williams, 23, no known address, was being held in the Lucas County jail last night on a murder charge.

Carmita Dickey, 30, of Goodale Avenue was killed and Damion Davis, 28, of Rockingham Avenue was injured May 25 when they were shot while in a car at Torrey Hill Drive and Macomber Street. Police issued warrants for Williams and Jonathon Booker, 24, of Birckhead Place in connection with Ms. Dickey's death. Early on May 26, Booker was found shot and killed in the 1300 block of Thatcher Drive. Police are investigating whether Williams is connected to Booker's death. No one has been charged in his slaying. Williams was arrested early Friday in Columbus.
