TIFFIN - A Fostoria man has pleaded not guilty in Seneca County Common Pleas Court in the shooting death of his brother last month.

Tim Osterberg, 37, faces one count of murder with a gun specification in connection with the Nov. 17 death of his brother, Toby, 33.

Mr. Osterberg was being held yesterday in lieu of a $1 million bond at the Seneca County jail. A pretrial date in the case was pending yesterday in Judge Steve Shuff's office.

The sheriff's office received a call just after 10 p.m. Nov. 17 from Fostoria police saying a man had been shot. He later was later pronounced dead at the local hospital.

Sheriff's authorities did not release a motive for the shooting after Mr. Osterberg was arrested.
