A Fostoria man was indicted yesterday by a Lucas County grand jury in last week's fatal stabbing of a bouncer at downtown Toledo night club.

Kenneth Montano, 37, was indicted on one count of murder for the death of Scott Marshall. He was stabbed twice in the chest about 3 a.m. Jan. 31 at Club Metro and died later in St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center.

Montano is being held in the Lucas County Jail in lieu of $500,000. Police said Montano and an acquaintance went into the bar at 519 Jefferson Ave. near closing time and got upset with a barmaid when she refused to serve them drinks.

An altercation ensued, and Montano is accused of pulling a knife from his pocket and stabbing Mr. Marshall, 25, of 1642 Palmwood Ave.
