2 Toledo firefighters elevated to lieutenant

Two Toledo firefighters will be promoted to lieutenant to|mor|row in Government Center.

They are Ronald E. Magers, 40, and Don R. Berry, 37. Mr. Magers joined the fire department in March, 1996, and is assigned to station No. 5. Mr. Berry has been with the department since September, 1992, and works at station No. 17.

After they are promoted, the men will be assigned to the relief pool and will work as needed within the department, spokesman Linda Baker said.
