PORT CLINTON — A Genoa man was indicted by an Ottawa County grand jury yesterday on felony charges stemming from a break-in at an area home.

Todd A. Miller, 39, was indicted on one count each of disrupting public services, aggravated burglary, attempted rape, kidnapping, abduction, and possession of criminal tools.

He is accused of entering a Genoa residence at about 4 a.m. June 1 after cutting the outside telephone lines and forcing the occupant of the home to leave with him.

According to the Ottawa County prosecutor, he fled the scene after neighbors heard the victim screaming for help and contacted police.
