Sky Financial acquires Findlay insurance firm

BOWLING GREEN — Sky Financial Group Inc., which owns Sky Bank, has acquired Spencer-Patterson Agency Inc. of Findlay in a stock and cash deal. The purchase price was not revealed.

The insurance agency, in business more than 130 years, was merged into subsidiary Sky Insurance Inc. effective yesterday. The agency's 21 employees are being retained and will remain in the Findlay office.
