N-Viro Corp. to get new chief executive

7/2/2004

Toledo-based N-Viro International Corp. has a new person at the helm, as Terry Logan is stepping down as chief executive and becoming a consultant.

Phillip Levin, company chairman and a Troy, Mich. resident, is also the acting CEO. The employment contract of Mr. Logan, who was named CEO in May, 2002, expired Wednesday, and a two-year consulting agreement was signed. He will remain on the firm's board of directors.

The change, which is expected to save N-Viro $50,000 this year, comes as the firm is trying to hang on to its largest commercial customer. The waste-treatment technology firm has been told its contract to manage Toledo's sewage treatment plant won't necessarily be renewed at year's end. The contract amounts to a third of N-Viro's $5.5 million in annual revenues.
