ADRIAN - A 37-year-old Detroit man ran out the front door of Lenawee County District Court on Thursday after a judge sentenced him to 45 days in jail for driving with a suspended license.

Officers from several nearby police agencies apprehended Calvin Lamont Miller at a nearby drugstore, police said.

After he was taken into custody, Mr. Miller was taken back to appear before District Court Judge Natalia Koselka.

The judge increased his sentence to 93 days, and he could face additional charges for resisting arrest and escaping custody.
