Treasurer to retire from O-I at year's end

Owens-Illinois Inc., the Toledo glass container maker, said yesterday its vice president and treasurer, Jeffrey Denker, will retire at the end of the year after 40 years with the company.

The Toledo native joined the Fortune 500 firm in 1966 and has had a variety of jobs. He was elected treasurer in 1998 and has been responsible for management of the firm's finances.
