BOWLING GREEN A Northwood man arrested after a series of incidents in which large rocks were placed on State Rt. 51 pleaded guilty yesterday in Wood County Common Pleas Court to one count of vehicular vandalism.

Richard Kneer, 36, is to be sentenced May 2 by Judge Robert Pollex.

Last May, a co-defendant in the case, Michael Lambert, 45, of Toledo, was sentenced to 20 days in jail, placed on community control for two years, fined $2,000, and ordered to perform 100 hours of community service after he pleaded guilty to the same charge.

Prosecutors said Lambert and Kneer rolled a 98-pound rock onto the roadway on Jan. 10, 2004, in the way of traffic.
