A 15-year-old boy from a Pemberville, Ohio, group home yesterday was certified to stand trial as an adult in a case in which he is accused of sexually assaulting an 8-year-old boy at a South Toledo arcade.

Crisoffer Curey, during a hearing before Lucas County Juvenile Court Judge James Ray, was certified to stand trial in Lucas County Common Pleas Court on one count each of rape and kidnapping.

The judge ordered him to be transferred from the county's juvenile detention center to the county jail, where he was to be held in lieu of a $100,000 bond.

The teenager is accused of luring the boy into a restroom at Nickelworld, 2545 South Reynolds Rd., in January and sexually assaulting him. The boy's mother found them in the restroom, police said.

Authorities said the teenager has prior sex convictions.
