Cell phone camera voyeur sentenced in Perrysburg to 90 days in jail

The Port Clinton, Ohio man accused of using his cell phone camera to take a photo under the skirt of a 12-year-old girl at the Woodville Mall was sentenced to 90 days in jail this morning and fined $750 by Perrysburg Municipal Court Judge S. Dwight Osterud.

Richard R. Cantu, 51, of 430 E. Second St., Port Clinton, was found guilty on two different counts of attempted voyeurism one a second-degree misdemeanor and the other a fourth-degree misdemeanor.

He was also declared a habitual sex offender and will be required to register with the state for 20 years. He was already listed as a sexually-oriented offender.
