Municipal pools slated to open at noon today

Toledo s 12 swimming pools are expected to open at noon today.

Complex pools will be open Tuesdays through Sundays from noon to 6 p.m this summer. They include Detwiler, 3901 290th St.; Highland, 1800 South Ave.; Ravine, 290 Dearborn St., and Willys, 1375 Hillcrest Ave.

Roosevelt, 910 Dorr St., an intermediate pool, also will be open from noon to 6 p.m. Tuesdays through Sundays.

Junior pools will be open from noon to 6 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays. They include Ashley, 141 Knower St.; Collins, 624 Reineck St.; Jamie Farr, 2000 Summit St.; Navarre, 1001 White St.; Pickford, 3000 Medford Drive, and Wilson, 3253 Otto St.

The Savage water play area, 645 Vance St., will be open from noon to 6 p.m. Tuesdays through Sundays.
