Findlay woman gets 4 years for assault, robbery

FINDLAY - A Findlay woman convicted of assaulting and robbing a McComb man in February was sentenced yesterday to four years in prison by Hancock County Common Pleas Judge Joseph Niemeyer.

Nicole Bragenzer, 18, pleaded guilty in May to felonious assault, aggravated robbery, and kidnapping stemming from a Feb. 25 incident in which Christopher Berger was driven to a location on Township Road 69, beaten with a belt, a tire iron, and fists. His wallet and cell phone were stolen.

A co-defendant, Thomas D. Smith, 22, was sentenced May 31 to 15 years for his role in the attack while Sean P. McKee, 18, is to be sentenced Wednesday on the same charges.
