9/15/2006

FINDLAY The trial of a former Lima, Ohio, man charged with the murder of a Fostoria man was postponed yesterday until Dec. 11.

Curtis Stevens, 21, of Decatur, Ga., is charged with murder, felonious assault, and carrying a concealed weapon stemming from the June 6 death of Reginald Watkins, 23, a former Toledo resident.

Watkins was shot after getting into an argument with Stevens brother, Kendall Stevens, at a party at a house on Findlay s south side, authorities said.

Kendall Stevens, 23, pleaded guilty in Hancock County Common Pleas Court last month to carrying a concealed weapon and obstructing justice in the case.

In addition, he agreed to testify in his brother s case.
