TIFFIN - Two men pleaded guilty in Seneca County Common Pleas Court to selling crack cocaine near a Tiffin elementary school in June and were sentenced to prison.

Jedediah R. Morton, 19, of Fostoria, admitted his role in complicity to trafficking in crack cocaine; Eric S. George, 27, of Tiffin, pleaded guilty to trafficking in crack cocaine. Common Pleas Judge Steve Shuff sentenced Morton, who has a previous drug trafficking conviction, to four years in prison and George to three years in prison, according to County Prosecutor Ken Egbert, Jr.

On June 15, George sold 2.75 grams of crack cocaine for $800 to an undercover informant at a residence on Benner Street, less than 500 feet from St. Mary's Elementary School, Mr. Egbert said.

Morton had supplied the drugs to George, who then gave the money from the sale to Morton, Mr. Egbert said.
