FREMONT A Fremont man who faced trial next week on charges of attempted murder and tampering with evidence has pleaded guilty to a reduced charge.

Brian Copeland, 32, pleaded guilty Tuesday before Sandusky County Common Pleas Court Judge James Sherck to aggravated robbery.

Fremont police charged Copeland with stabbing the owner of the Saloon Bar on West State Street during a June 29 holdup.
