Toledo man arraigned in crime spree

A Toledo man was arraigned yesterday on three aggravated robbery charges in connection with a crime spree Monday in South Toledo.

Marcus Walton, 37, of 1305 Palmetto Ave., who was arraigned in Toledo Municipal Court, was ordered held in the Lucas County jail in lieu of $155,000 bond on the charges as well as one count of failure to comply with a police order.

He is accused in three robberies in which a knife or box cutter was used and is suspected in others.

He is accused of robbing a woman and her teenage son at Norge Laundry & Dry Cleaners, 1023 South Ave.; Stop & Save, 2154 South, and the Broadway Mini-Mart, 1723 Broadway, police said.
