A Toledo man was indicted yesterday by a Lucas County grand jury for murder in the fatal shooting last month that occurred during a gun battle on Woodstock Avenue.
Carlin W. Baucom, 33, of 1512 Upton Ave., was charged in the Nov. 30 homicide of Donnell Butler. The indictment includes a specification that a gun was used in the crime.
Mr. Butler was found dead on the front porch of a house at 904 Woodstock, where he lived with his parents. He died from two gunshot wounds of the chest.
Baucom, who is being held in the Lucas County jail in lieu of a $500,000 bond, was treated at Toledo Hospital for a gunshot wound in his arm.
