United Auto Workers-represented employees at a Toledo Molding & Die Inc. plant on
Phillips Avenue returned to work yesterday after a one-day work stoppage, company officials said.
About 100 employees on two shifts walked off their jobs Monday at the factory that
supplies instrument panels to DamilerChrysler AG s Toledo assembly operations of the Jeep Wrangler and Wrangler Unlimited.
Steve Ciucci, a company spokesman, said negotiations are continuing and progress on a contract is being made.
The work stoppage did not affect production of the Wrangler models, Michele Tinson, a spokesman for Chrysler, said.
