Findlay man indicted in break-ins, rapes

FINDLAY A Findlay man accused last week in a string of break-ins and rapes was indicted yesterday by a Hancock County grand jury on three counts of burglary and one count of rape.

Charles H. Artressia, 48, was indicted for burglary and rape stemming from a December, 2004, assault of a 23-year-old woman on North Cory Street near the University of Findlay campus, for a burglary in April, 2005, on Park Street, and for a break-in at a different North Cory Street home in June, 2005.

Artressia, who is being held in the Hancock County jail in lieu of a $1 million bond, is to be arraigned next week in Hancock County Common Pleas Court.
