BOWLING GREEN A woman whose pickup left State Rt. 582 and struck a utility pole, killing her passenger, was indicted this week by a Wood County grand jury.

Blanca Salinas, 35, of Luckey was charged with aggravated vehicular homicide, endangering children, and possession of cocaine for the June 15 crash in which Dennis Spanyers, 57, was killed and her 3-year-old daughter, Emily Cruz, was hurt.

Ms. Salinas was eastbound on Route 582, just east of Luckey, about 12:30 p.m. when the pickup went off the road and struck a pole, authorities said.
