BOWLING GREEN Bond was continued at $22,500 yesterday for a Bowling Green man accused of inhaling computer dust remover gas while he was supposed to be watching his 4-year-old nephew.

Richard P. Phillips, 43, was being held in the Wood County jail on charges of abusing harmful intoxicants, criminal trespass, and endangering children.

Bowling Green police said a 4-year-old boy walked out of an apartment on Colony Lane about 8:45 p.m. Saturday and went to the nearby apartment of a city police officer to tell him that he was scared to go back inside his apartment because his uncle had fallen and was bleeding.

Police found Mr. Phillips in an upstairs bedroom with a bloody forehead and some blood on his hands. A can of 3M Dust Remover Compressed Gas Duster was on the floor next to him. Police said Mr. Phillips was told previously not to be on the premises. He was treated at Wood County Hospital before being booked into the jail.
