Bonds set on 4 men in West Toledo burglary

Bond was set in Toledo Municipal Court yesterday for four Toledo men accused of breaking into a West Toledo house Friday morning. Three remained in jail.

Steven Willis, 22, of 1643 Macomber St., was charged with burglary and theft. He also was arraigned on two burglary warrants. Willis was held in the Lucas County jail in lieu of $400,000 bond.

Christopher Draper, 23, of 2833 Rockwood Pl., and Darren Parks, 22, of 1407 Prospect Ave., were charged with burglary. They were both held in lieu of $100,000 bond.

Rubin Swain, 18, of 421 Spencer St., was charged with burglary and was released on a supervised recognizance bond.

The men were apprehended after a break-in in the 6000 block of Thousand Oaks Drive about 10 a.m. Friday. Police tracked them to an apartment in nearby Palmer Gardens, where three flat-screen televisions and other stolen property were recovered.
