Two men accused of robbing a man at gunpoint in March in central Toledo have been indicted by a Lucas County grand jury.

Darnell Walker, 18, of 321 Oconnell St. was indicted Tuesday on charges of aggravated robbery and felonious assault, each with a firearms specification. He also was indicted for possession of crack cocaine and trafficking in cocaine.

Mr. Walker was being held in the county jail in lieu of a $130,000 bond.

Bobby Gittens, 19, of 3547 Hoiles Ave. was indicted for aggravated robbery and felonious assault, each with a firearms specification. He was being held in the county jail in lieu of a $125,000 bond.

Roy Young, 33, was walking in the 400 block of Cumberland Place about 2 a.m. March 28 when two men grabbed him.

One pulled out a semiautomatic handgun; the other demanded that Mr. Young give him everything he had and he then began searching through his pockets. He told Mr. Young to give him the chain he was wearing around his neck, but Mr. Young resisted and then fled, police said.

Police followed two sets of footprints in the snow to a house at 3328 Glenwood Ave., where Mr. Walker and Mr. Gittens were found hiding, police said.

Officers found a loaded semiautomatic handgun and ammunition as well as a bag containing suspected crack cocaine in Mr. Walker's front pocket, police said.
