FINDLAY A Findlay man was sentenced Tuesday to life in prison for murdering and robbing his roommate last September.

Joshua B. Fox, 31, pleaded guilty in Hancock County Common Pleas Court to aggravated murder, aggravated robbery, and tampering with evidence in the Sept. 3 fatal stabbing of Jeffrey E. Harmon, 38. He entered the plea after a psychological exam concluded that he was competent to stand trial.

Judge Joseph Niemeyer told Fox he would not be eligible to apply for parole until he had served at least 25 years in prison.

An accomplice in the slaying, Michael A. Kitchen, 22, is to be sentenced Friday by Judge Niemeyer. Kitchen pleaded guilty last month to aggravated murder and seven other charges.
